Lynette Mitchell Harley

For the last 25 years, Lynette’s career has been in the area of workforce development. She served as the Area Director/Staff Manager of the local state employment office for over a decade. During her tenure with the state, she held various positions which also included Unemployment Claims Supervisor. Lynette was responsible for the implementation and facilitation of workshops that addressed workforce development. Some of those workshops included career exploration, preparation, and work ethics. As a manager, she was also in charge of the interviewing and hiring of personnel. In 2013, the opportunity presented itself for her to turn the corner on her career and Career Corner was founded. It is her desire to strengthen the workforce by connecting clients to information that will assist them with achieving their career outcomes.
Lynette has a Bachelor’s Degree from Limestone College and is currently working on her Masters Degree through Capella University. She also has an associate’s degree from the University of South Carolina. In 2014, she received her certification as a Life Coach with a specialization in Career Development.
